Maintenance SupervisorThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines, to assure a safe, clean, and sanitary environment is maintained. This includes prioritizing maintenance projects and tasks, assigning responsibilities to maintenance employees and following up to ensure these have been adequately completed in a timely manner.At StoneBridge Senior Living, being a caregiver is more than our business. Here, our support doesn't clock out when you do.Benefits You May Be Eligible For:Paid Time OffHealth benefits (medical, dental, vision, life & long-term disability)Competitive CompensationBonus opportunities & recognitionUp to six paid holidays per year and/or double-time opportunitiesTuition reimbursementResponsibilities and Duties:Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activitiesDevelop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.Assist the maintenance staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.Review the department's policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually for revisions and make recommendations to the Administrator.Interpret the department's policies and procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, etc.Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the Maintenance Department.Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.).Make written oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department.Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.Submit accident/incident reports to the business office within twenty-four (24) hours after their occurrence.Assist the Infection Control Coordinator in identifying, evaluating, and classifying routine and job-related maintenance functions to ensure that tasks involving the potential exposure to blood/body fluids are properly identified and recorded.Inspect storage rooms, workrooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control.Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as necessary or as may be directed.Review and develop a plan of correction for maintenance deficiencies noted during survey inspections and provide a written copy of such to the Administrator.Keep abreast of economic conditions/situations and recommend to the Administrator adjustments in maintenance services that assure the continued ability to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., to assure control of equipment and supplies.Ensure that services performed by outside vendors are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders.Delegate a responsible staff member to act in your behalf when you are absent from the facility.Agree not to disclose assigned user ID code and password for accessing resident/facility information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.Report any known or suspected unauthorized attempt to access facility's information system.Act as 24-hour on-call liaison for all facility emergency and non-emergency situations.All other duties as assignedRequirements:Qualifications and Skills:Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position.Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.Join Our Caregiver Family!For more than 50 years, our family has been dedicated to caring for others, and we invite you to reach out with any questions or comments.We welcome the opportunity to meet you and make you a part of our family.Together, we're confident we can work together to provide a spectrum of high-quality care including Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Care that enhances the lives of those in our communities.#StoneBridgeTogether
