Finished Goods PackerThe Baily finished goods packing employee is a critical component of the company's success and works in a hands-on capacity with the finished product to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. These employees' work directly with the line supervisor and related employees to ensure product quality and customer expectations are met.Position Title: Finished Goods PackerPosition Reports To: Line SupervisorJob Type: Full TimeEssential Job Functions:Responsible to properly count, fill, and weigh all finished product cases to ensure the correct count and/or weightEnsure that the work area is always maintained in a clean and safe mannerComplete all paperwork legibly and accuratelyNotify the supervisor and/or maintenance in the event of a breakdown or mechanical issueFollow all cGMP's and HACCP proceduresAssist with the set up and/or breakdown of production equipment when required by supervisionReport all pertinent information to the supervisor or plant manager and perform additional duties that may be assigned by managementSkills Required for this Position:Ability to understand procedures and policiesWork as a team in fast paced environmentQuality oriented and mindedWork with little supervision when requiredAbility to read scales and metal detectorAbility to perform basic mathExperience:Preferred food plant production experience, but not requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentWorking Relationships:Direct interaction with line supervisor for direction and to keep them informed of opportunities that are discovered while performing the packing duties.Work Environment:Generally, can be physically demanding in nature and may require standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing balancing, kneeling, crouching or crawling.Work requires ability to work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.Work will require, regularly, the need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 poundsWork may require the use of tools or equipment that requires a high degree of dexterity.Work may involve working around moving conveyors and mechanical partsWork area maybe wet and/or humid as part of normal operationsWork area temperatures maybe ranging from 0?F to 100?F
