Human Resources SpecialistThe Human Resources Specialist supports daily Human Resources operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, personnel records, compliance, and company policies. This position provides support to employees and management, assists with HR-related concerns, and helps maintain a positive, professional, and compliant workplace.Essential Job Functions:Supports daily HR operations and provide assistance to employees and management.Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of employees.Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records and HR files.Assist with employee relations, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.Support performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee documentation.Administer and assist with employee benefits, leave requests, and related inquiries.Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll-related matters.Ensure employees receive required company policies, forms, and HR communications.Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.Assist with employee training, orientations, and HR programs.Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed.Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned.Minimum Position Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.Knowledge of basic HR practices, employee relations, and employment regulations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred.Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.Education and Experience:2+ years of experience in Human Resources.High school diploma or equivalent required.Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Physical and Other Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to work in an office and warehouse/distribution environment as required.Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
