Human Resources Operations Specialist

Hybrid: 4 days in office; 1 day working from home Job Summary A dynamic HR Operations Specialist who will represent our HR team with professionalism and engagement. This role will support global HR efforts by ensuring compliance with local labor laws, managing timekeeping systems, and coordinating global Payroll administration. You'll collaborate closely with the Global Payroll Director to provide tactical and administrative HR support across the region. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Professional Representation: Serve as a professional, approachable, and engaging representative of the HR team in all interactions. Maintain a positive image of the organization while fostering strong relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Compliance with Labor Laws: Ensure all HR and payroll activities comply with applicable local labor laws and regulations. Stay informed of legislative updates and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance. HR and Payroll Data Management: Process approved employee profile updates, including compensation, job title, reporting line, and organizational changes, within UKG Pro and OneView, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Payroll Records and Employee File Maintenance: Maintain monthly payroll folders and employee records for all countries, ensuring approved documentation is accurately filed, organized, and retained for audit and compliance purposes. Payroll Administration: Respond promptly and professionally to employee and management inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping. Timekeeping Administration: Assist with timecard data for payroll processing using Workforce Management and OneView. Review, monitor, and resolve timekeeping discrepancies in a timely manner to support accurate payroll processing. Benefits Deduction and Payment Coordination: Support benefit-related payroll activities by validating and processing benefit payment and deduction data. Ensure information is accurately imported and maintained within payroll systems to support timely monthly payroll processing. Employment Verification Administration: Prepare and process country-specific employment and compensation verification requests, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion. Global Payroll Team Collaboration: Partner with the Global Payroll and HR teams to support regional and global initiatives, projects, and process improvements, ensuring effective execution and alignment across the organization. Education, Training, Experience Completion of an Office Administration certificate program or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources or a related field; or three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of administrative experience in a Human Resources environment Experience with HRIS systems Proven experience in HR operations or a related field. Strong understanding of payroll and timekeeping systems. Can work cross-functionally Familiarity with benefit administration platforms. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to represent the HR team professionally and engagingly. Experience in payroll/HR administration; multi-country exposure strongly preferred. Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of regional regulations related to leave, benefits, and pensions, with strong aptitude to learn new jurisdictions. Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems; strong Excel/data accuracy skills. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving ability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
