Vice President of Intake - Home Health Care

Senior Director of Intake - Home Health Care Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Senior Director of Intake. The Senior Director of Intake position is for a Licensed Home Care Agency in Brooklyn, NY. Qualified candidates will have extensive Home Health Care Director level experience in Intake Operations, Business Development, and Home Care Coordination experience with a Licensed Home Health Care Agency. About the Position: Responsible for day-to-day supervision of all Intake Operations functions including Intake oversight, Intake Coordination, and office Operations. Oversee the day-to-day operations of patient care services, assuring compliance with all agency and NYDOH regulatory requirements. Accountable for achieving processes and workflows to create positive patient outcomes and coordination of services. Providing the resources employees need in creating an environment that enables people to be successful. Ensure census/agency growth through excellent customer & employee service and assist with assuring that all Intake referrals are accepted under care/staffed timely. Performing key analysis and reporting related to Intake Operations and efficiency including tracking clients throughout the referral process. Customer focus, attention to detail, and great leadership ability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing, social work, or health care administration. Two years of work experience must be in supervision or administration. Extensive knowledge of home health agency regulations. Good organization, communication, and human relations skills are required. Self-motivation and independent decision-making skills are required. Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and problem solve. Computer proficiency, HHA Exchange Program. Operations Management within Home Health setting, required.
