You'll execute innovative solutions to sophisticated problems, while collaborating with a wide range of internal teams and community leaders to achieve company goals and objectives. Success in this role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to independently initiate and execute projects, and a strong understanding of business commitments and customer requirements.Responsibilities/Expectations:Collaborates with project teams to support decision-making, identify emerging issues, and mitigate risksEstablishes and nurtures relationships with internal and local stakeholders to ensure all project phases are delivered timely and consistentlyRepresents the company at public forums and local outreach eventsGuides the efficiency and effectiveness of local and public outreach effortsInteracts with third party firms to assist in local outreach and other engagementsOther duties as assignedLevel IIIEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor's Degree in Public Affairs, Communications, or Political Science and a minimum of (5) years of public relations, corporate communications, government affairs or project managementPreferred: Master's Degree in Public Relations and a minimum of (7) years of corresponding experienceLevel IIEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or Political Science and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in politics or community engagementOther Requirements: Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsAdept at relationship building within the organization and with outside groupsProven ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive resolutionKnowledge of the energy industryAbility to travel up to 50% requiredThis is an in-office role#LI-KK1Why Houston?
