Your expertise will help deliver personalized treatment plans, engage in tumor board discussions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with state medical licensure
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Oncology
• Proven clinical expertise in hematology and oncology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage outpatient and inpatient care effectively
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably ONCO EMR
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable performing comprehensive assessments and managing a caseload of 10-15 patients daily

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with tumor boards and cancer registry data
• Participation in clinical research or trials
• Additional certifications in related fields (e.g., Oncology Nursing Certification)
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of residency and fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an oncology setting
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary, outpatient practice environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work a schedule aligned with Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Flexibility for occasional night and weekend call (phone-based)
• Valid state license to practice medicine
• Commitment to maintaining certifications and staying updated on the latest cancer therapies
• Must not be currently licensed through IMLC
