Director Corporate Tax (m/f/d) Date: May 19, 2026 Location: Hamburg, DE, 20097 Business Unit: Corporate Units Job Function: Finance / Controlling / Accounting / Tax Level of Experience: Mid‑Career HELM is looking for a motivated professional to join our Corporate Tax Team in Hamburg. In this key leadership role, as Director of Corporate Tax (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the management and strategic development of the Corporate Tax team, as well as for the strategic direction of all HELM’s national and international tax matters. You are the first point of contact for all tax matters of HELM AG and its national subsidiaries with regard to national and international taxes, in particular income taxes, transfer prices and VAT. You manage and coordinate the Corporate Tax Team (4 employees), oversee their strategic development and maintain close cooperation with external tax advisors. You monitor and prepare transfer‑pricing documentation for domestic and foreign subsidiaries. You coordinate the preparation of all tax returns, tax balance sheets and review incoming tax assessments, and establish appropriate processes and structures to manage these challenges within day‑to‑day business. You take over tax‑relevant projects such as M&A activities, implementation of BEPS2.0, and further development of the TAX CMS within a project‑management framework. In this context, you continuously optimise tax processes and systems within the company and implement and monitor new regulatory requirements. Your profile You have a degree in economics with a focus on tax or a comparable qualification and possess profound professional experience in a corporation or an auditing firm, ideally combined with a tax‑advisor exam. In the last at least 5 years of your professional career, you have acquired comprehensive knowledge of national and international tax‑law regulations as well as transfer‑pricing documentation. You are characterised by a quick comprehension of tasks, a self‑dependent and structured way of working, and a high degree of teamwork and communication skills. You enjoy shaping corporate processes and procedures in a changing organisational environment with a hands‑on mentality.
