Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our hospital facility, which is designed to facilitate collaboration between physicians and medical staff. You will predominantly work a Monday to Friday schedule, fostering a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking detailed medical histories to inform accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients of all ages.
• Perform physical examinations and be responsible for ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, ensuring tailored treatment based on individual patient needs.
• Administer vaccinations and medications while providing educational guidance to patients regarding preventive health measures and necessary lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, coordinating referrals to specialists when necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Efficiently document all patient interactions using the EPIC EMR system to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staying abreast of the latest medical advancements and best practices within the field.
• Emphasize preventive care strategies to facilitate improved patient wellness and quality of life.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, building strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Maintain adherence to all ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring the confidentiality of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA Certification and an active state license are mandatory prior to employment.
• Strong foundational knowledge in family medicine with at least 1 year of clinical experience as a practicing Physician Assistant.
• Effective communication, active listening, and critical thinking skills are essential for successful patient care delivery.

Preferred Experience

• A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred, reinforcing a comprehensive understanding of advanced clinical concepts.

Compensation and Benefits
