Make an impact on young learners as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, working full-time in a dynamic, supportive school setting near Arroyo Seco, NM. This contract opportunity focuses on elementary-aged students across two different schools, allowing you to help children communicate with confidence and reach critical developmental milestones.
As a valued member of the school's multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver high-quality speech and language therapy tailored to each student's unique needs. Your commitment will help build brighter futures for students who benefit from your expertise and care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or CFY status accepted)
Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in an educational environment
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
Ability to develop and implement IEPs collaboratively
Excellent communication, documentation, and organization abilities
Passion for supporting children's speech and language development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for elementary students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
Prepare and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district guidelines
Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in the IEP process
Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy services on campus
Monitor student progress, adjust strategies as needed, and contribute to a positive school environment
