Overview

Seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users and workplace technology. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting devices and applications, managing service requests, and ensuring a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues.
• Manage support tickets from intake through resolution, including documentation and user communication.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and replace end-user devices.
• Support onboarding, workstation setups, software installations, and device provisioning.
• Maintain asset inventory records and assist with technology lifecycle activities.
• Support meeting room technology and collaboration tools.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Participate in technology upgrades, deployments, and other IT initiatives.

Required Skills

• Experience providing desktop or end-user technical support.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Experience working within a ticketing or service management environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Chicago,IL.
