ClassificationFixed Term (Fixed Term)Minimum Pay$0.00Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe Business department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Accounting Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners.Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.Teach with excellence a full range of Accounting coursework.May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.Hiring process includes passing a background check.QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in Accounting or related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.ORBachelor’s degree in Business or a related disciplineANDcurrent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificateAND2 years of full-time related occupational experience.The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
