We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused vehicle title & registration specialist to join our team. This role combines the technical knowledge of a traditional DMV, tag agency, or automotive dealership title or billing clerk with exceptional customer service.

As a Vehicle Title & Registration Specialist, you will review vehicle titles and supporting documents, identify problems or missing information, and help customers understand what they need to successfully complete their transaction. The ideal candidate has experience reviewing vehicle title and registration documents and can communicate complicated requirements in a clear, patient, and professional way.

What You'll Do

• Review vehicle certificates of title, title applications, bills of sale, powers of attorney, lien letters, identification, and other supporting documentation and verify them for accuracy, completeness, signatures, dates, vehicle information, ownership information, lienholder information, and other required elements.
• Identify missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or potentially incorrect information before transactions are submitted for processing.
• Communicate with customers through phone, email, and text with additional forms, documents, signatures, corrections, or information required.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer, vehicle, title, and registration information in internal systems.
• Follow established procedures and applicable motor vehicle agency requirements when processing transactions.
• Work with internal teams like call center agents, and, when appropriate, motor vehicle agencies or other parties to resolve title and registration issues.

What We're Looking For

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• DMV or motor vehicle agency
• Private tag or title agency
• Automotive dealership title department
• Automotive billing/title department
• Vehicle registration service
• Automotive finance or lending title department
• Vehicle auction or automotive title processing operation

Experience processing or reviewing vehicle titles and registration documents is strongly preferred.

We are also looking for someone who has demonstrated success helping customers. Strong candidates will be able to:

• Remain patient when customers are confused or frustrated

• Comfortable working with web-based systems and digital documents
• Ability to learn and apply detailed procedures and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
