In support of their needs, we are looking for a Information Technology Technician 2 Job Description: Job Title: Information Technology Technician 2 Job Location: Fremont, CA Work Schedule: Onsite Salary: $60k-80k, Based on experience Must Have: L2 are application support admins or user support admins. they are “higher” than desktop but lower in skills than system admin. Good comm skills and good attitude - Apple Genius in Apple store type personalities.. very customer focused Looking for people who are well versed in MS365, sharepoint, onedrive, teams outlook, etc Responsibilities Support Apple, Linux and Windows environments. Support mobile computing environments. Support a wide range of technologies, including Printers, VoIP, copiers, Audio/Video (AV) collaboration systems, automation robotics devices, handheld scanners, open source software, etc. Assist in managing the Service Desk ticket queues and prioritizing response to these requests Collaborate with other IT groups and Engineering teams to support their initiatives. Provide training and guidance to staff on IT supported applications and services. Develop and maintain documentation related IT supported applications and services. Tier2 Escalation for IT supported applications and services. Qualifications: At least 2-3 years in a corporate IT help desk/service desk role. Experience or some knowledge with Mac and Windows management in an enterprise environment using Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, and Atlassian Suite (JIRA Service Desk, JIRA Software, Confluence) Experience using remote support tools: Team Viewer, RDP, or equivalent tools. Experience or some knowledge with processes including ITIL, Documentation, Change Management, and Work Prioritization. Experience or some knowledge with relevant IT technology: DNS, DHCP, networking, VPN, storage, VoIP, etc. Experience with hardware maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. Experience reviewing and understanding software/operating system logs (varied by system) for troubleshooting and issue resolution. General experience with Mac and Windows operating systems. Experience using MS Intune and/or JAMF to manage devices. Natural tendency to focus on scalable long-term solutions. Experience or some knowledge with Audio & Visual solutions and integrations. Participation in on-call rotation Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Mac, Windows and Linux fleets Minimum of 2 years supporting end-users CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ preferred Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods. Ability to stand, stoop, bend and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at a time.
