Job Description Front Desk Coordinator ensures smooth daily operations by managing patient communication, scheduling, financial coordination, and administrative support to maintain an efficient and welcoming dental practice. . Key Responsibilities Patient Check-In/Out - Greet patients, verify information, update records, and manage end-of-visit procedures. Appointment Scheduling - Manage calendars, confirm appointments, handle cancellations, and optimize provider schedules. Insurance Verification - Confirm eligibility, benefits, frequencies, and pre-authorizations. Financial Coordination - Present treatment plans, collect payments, explain balances, and process claims. Phone & Communication Management - Answer calls, respond to messages, and maintain professional communication. Record Management - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Office Support - Assist with daily administrative tasks, reports, and office organization. Required Skills & Qualifications Customer Service Skills - Friendly, professional, patient-focused. Dental Software Knowledge - Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, or similar. Insurance Understanding - PPO, HMO, Medicaid, pre-auths, frequencies, limitations. Communication Skills - Clear verbal and written communication. Multitasking - Ability to manage phones, patients, and admin tasks simultaneously. HIPAA Knowledge - Protect patient privacy and follow compliance rules. Basic Accounting - Payment posting, balancing, and financial accuracy.
