(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary Responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, maintaining safety compliance, supporting customers, and managing inventory and merchandise. Works with team members, supervisors, and vendors to execute company policies and standards. Responsibilities Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity using the Open Door Policy and action plans. Operate forklift safely following company standards, picking, moving, placing and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities, collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, set deadlines, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities. Receive stocks and organize merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers, manage inventory flow, update logs, and address shelf capacities. Provide member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, offer guidance on self‑service technology, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote products and services. Maintain facility safety: conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, handle hazardous materials, correct and report unsafe situations. Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation: zone the area, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged goods, set up displays, maintain modular integrity, and promote promotional items. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled, staged, and audited for accuracy within policy guidelines. Handle inventory: move and display goods safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor practices, and use inventory tools and equipment safely. Operate and maintain forklifts, report unsafe conditions, and notify management of forklift issues. Proactively identify customers needing assistance, engage with technology services, model service practices, and identify shrink or quality issues to resolve them. Maintain equipment, keep products organized and stocked correctly, and promptly fix any problems. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer Service Experience Retail Experience Experience supervising a team Compensation Hourly wage range: $20.00 – $28.00 (may exceed minimum wage applicable to the location). Additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work.
