About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Consumer Lending to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across the full spectrum of consumer lending functions. This key leadership role is responsible for indirect lending, direct consumer lending underwriting, and consumer lending operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong credit management skills, a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and the ability to ensure that consumer lending programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's goals. The SVP will also be tasked with setting and achieving lending goals, responding to market and regulatory changes, and driving sustainable portfolio growth. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in consumer lending sales and operations, including at least five years in a leadership role. A background in banking or financial institutional mortgage lending, as well as extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, is essential. The role requires a leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, who can make decisions that impact the organization and is proficient in managing a team. The SVP will be expected to champion continuous improvement, ensure strong governance of credit risk, and provide financial stewardship for the consumer lending division. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a professional certification or graduate degree.
