Inventory Control Specialist III - New Jersey

Inventory Control Specialist III supporting raw material and component inventory across two New Jersey manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include developing inventory processes, leading cycle counts, analyzing discrepancies, and reporting performance metrics to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor inventory transaction processes for accuracy and timeliness
- Lead cycle counting and bin checks in perpetual inventory environment across sites
- Analyze cycle count results, identify patterns, and escalate process deviations
- Reconcile weekly work-in-process locations and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Inventory Management or Supply Chain
- 5+ years overall experience with 2+ years in inventory control
- Solid understanding of inventory control principles and methodologies
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel/Word
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and work onsite at both locations
Compensation: $81,800–$109,100 base
