Details Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, including low intervention rooms, 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum beds Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500 deliveries per month 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage available Unit supports a Perinatal Transport Program 13-week assignment with a scheduled shift of 06:45-19:15 Requirements Active RN license (TX or compact) required BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross NRP certification from AAP Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service preferred S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit within an academic teaching hospital setting Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, with mileage varying by state First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID P-743711.
