As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and monitor activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related activity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization and vehicle entry requirements. Maintain accurate access-control records, issue and retrieve visitor badges and temporary credentials, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, exits, parking areas, production-adjacent areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
