Sales Account Executive (Miami-Dade County)

Actualidad Media Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to generate new business, develop client relationships, and achieve established revenue goals.

The Account Executive will sell Actualidad Media Group's advertising opportunities across radio, digital, social media, events, promotions, and sponsorships, working directly with local businesses, advertising agencies, and decision-makers throughout South Florida.

This position is ideal for a proactive sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, developing advertising solutions, and closing business. Media or advertising sales experience and knowledge of the South Florida and U.S. Hispanic markets are strongly preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, agency relationships, and direct contact with business owners and decision-makers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to grow their business with Actualidad Media Group.
• Meet or exceed established revenue goals.
• Understand client needs and develop advertising proposals utilizing radio, digital, social media, events, promotions, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting and presentation through negotiation, closing, campaign execution, and follow-up.
• Work closely with Programming, Promotions, Digital, Production, Traffic, and Management to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, account activity, proposals, pending business, and revenue forecasts.
• Participate in client meetings, station events, networking opportunities, and community activities that can generate new business.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in radio, television, digital media, advertising, marketing, or a related industry, with a demonstrated track record of generating new business, developing accounts, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
• Knowledge of the South Florida market and U.S. Hispanic consumer strongly preferred; established relationships with local or regional advertisers and advertising agencies are highly desirable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required , with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively engage business owners, senior executives, marketing professionals, advertising agencies, and other decision-makers.
• Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills, including experience with prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, direct outreach, sales presentations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
• Excellent relationship-building and client-service skills, with the ability to develop and maintain long-term client and business relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple accounts, prospects, proposals, priorities, and deadlines while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, competitive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and consistently pursue new business opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions to perform this job successfully.

Physical Requirements

• Work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Involves walking or standing for brief periods of time.
