Contract: 10/19/2026 - 06/30/2027


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST


Experience: Dental assisting, public health dental clinic, or patient care experience preferred


About the Role


We are seeking a Dental Assistant for an on-site contract opportunity in Springfield, Tennessee. This role supports public health dental clinic operations by assisting dentists during patient care, preparing instruments and supplies, maintaining infection control standards, completing dental records, and supporting smooth clinic flow.


Responsibilities
• Prepare dental supplies, instruments, and patient records before dental exams and procedures
• Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques during patient treatment
• Expose and prepare dental X-rays while following infection control and safety guidelines
• Disinfect operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment and supplies
• Support dental records, patient education, supply orders, clinic flow, and daily productivity goals


Requirements
• Current Tennessee Dental Assistant Registration Required
• Dental Radiology Certification Required
• Valid Driver's License Required
• CPR Certification Required
• Tennessee residency required; coronal polishing, nitrous oxide monitoring, and dental sealant certifications preferred
