Assistant Actuary

Assist the following actuarial functions: Pricing, Product Development, Product Administration, Illustration Actuary Compliance and Illustration System Administration, Refund Determination and Inforce Product Management, Financial Projections, including Enterprise Value Projections, Valuation and Financial Reporting, Experience Studies, Reinsurance, and Risk Management. May assist in the training of other associates. Participate on a division or cross-functional project team or committee. Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality as per supervisor and WoodmenLife policy. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements ASA with BS degree or higher and four years actuarial experience. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, databases and mathematics. In-depth knowledge of financial and modeling software. Requires technical writing skills and effective verbal communication. Requires flexible hours of work to meet deadlines and match business requirements. Requires superior problem solving skills.
