We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician in NewYork, NY to take charge of the upkeep and enhancement of our communityspaces, from rental units and common areas to grounds and parking lots.

Shift : Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm & on-callrotation . Youwill follow a set schedule pattern, with any changes communicated by yoursupervisor. Flexibility and adaptability are needed.

As a Maintenance Technician you will:

• Keep our properties in top shape, handling everything from painting and lawn care to electrical work and snow removal.
• Ensure newly vacated apartments are ready for the next resident with thorough ‘turnover’ maintenance.
• Regularly assess the property, proactively addressing maintenance concerns and collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor on solutions.
• Oversee vendor work as needed and safely operate power tools and equipment.

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ year experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Bilingual Spanish and English required
• Must be a member of the 32BJ Union or willing to join once hired
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Flexibility to handle after-hours maintenance calls and participate in the on-call rotation and snow removal.
