Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference this school year by providing essential speech-language services to K-8 students in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the academic year from August 5th through May 23rd, featuring a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students. Each day offers a consistent 7-hour schedule, enabling you to focus on direct therapy, assessments, and case management, without the pressures of shift unpredictability.

You’ll collaborate closely with fellow educational professionals and have the chance to creatively support student growth, communication, and achievement. Your expertise will be valued as you tailor interventions to meet diverse needs, conduct evaluations, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Facing new challenges and inspiring progress in students will be an integral part of your daily work.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children (K-8) is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with direct therapy models, student assessments, and maintaining accurate records
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Enthusiastic, collaborative attitude with a student-centered approach

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse K-8 student population
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to determine student needs
• Manage a caseload around 60 students, delivering individualized interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings to support collaborative student planning
• Engage in regular communication with teachers and families
