CNC Machinist II - Lathes (Direct Hire)

Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II with lathe experience to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating CNC lathe equipment, interpreting blueprints and routings, performing inspections, and ensuring high-quality production standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with manufacturing documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret routings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications according to company manufacturing practices
Perform first article inspections and document specifications and standards accurately
Maintain inspection and production documentation in accordance with company procedures
Update routings and CNC programs when manufacturing process changes occur
Deburr and package finished products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Follow all procedures related to non-conforming materials and quality control processes
Ensure product quality, production timeliness, and quantity goals are consistently achieved
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Accurately enter production and manufacturing data into computer systems
Assist with training and supporting machine operators as needed
Support production workflow and assist operators based on workload demands
Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by Supervisors or Leads

Qualifications

CNC lathe operation experience required
Ability to read blueprints, routings, and manufacturing documentation
Experience with quality inspections and measuring equipment preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Manufacturing and production experience preferred
