Our client, a leading manufacturer in the precision machining industry, is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to join their team. As a Senior CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Machining Department supporting engineering, quality, and production. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a high level of technical machining expertise.

Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist (1st & 2nd Shifts Available)

Location: Mequon, WI

Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr

What's the Job?

• Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software and G-code
• Set up and run complex multi-axis equipment (4th/5th axis, live tooling lathes)
• Troubleshoot advanced machining, tooling, and fixture issues
• Inspect and validate parts using CMMs and manual gauges; lead first-article processes
• Recommend and implement tooling and process improvements

What's Needed?

• 5–7 years of CNC machining experience, including setup and programming
• Proficiency with CAM software and G-code development
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Experience training and mentoring machinists or operators
• Ability to independently solve complex machining and tooling challenges
