The Opportunity

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to join a thriving commercial litigation practice. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to grow with a team that values both performance and people. Experience in healthcare litigation is a meaningful differentiator but not a barrier to entry for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal assistant support across active commercial litigation matters
• Draft, proofread, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Manage and track deadlines, court filings, and case calendars with precision
• Coordinate e-filings in Florida state and federal courts
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and document productions
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit binders and witness coordination
• Handle administrative functions: scheduling, travel arrangements, expense tracking

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience (commercial litigation strongly preferred)
• Experience with healthcare litigation a plus, not required
• Proficiency with legal software and e-filing systems (Florida state and/or federal)
• Strong command of court rules, deadlines, and filing procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
• Team-oriented with a professional, positive demeanor
