Senior Product Manager

About the role We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product for the Field Intelligence team. You’ll own the strategy and roadmap for how Forerunner helps field teams understand what needs attention, capture trustworthy information, and turn their findings into action. This includes mobile and offline workflows, AI-guided inspections, geospatial context, photo and voice capture, operational visibility, and the connection between field observations and downstream compliance or corrective-action workflows. This is a high-ownership role for a hands-on product builder who enjoys getting close to users, making sense of complicated operational environments, and turning that understanding into clear product direction and tangible solutions. Depending on the problem, that might mean sketching a workflow, building a lightweight prototype with modern tools, digging into usage data, writing detailed product behavior, or working directly with customers to test the riskiest assumption. You’ll work closely with Engineering and Design from discovery through delivery, while partnering with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to ensure what we build is adopted and creates measurable value. What you’ll do Own the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Field Intelligence, from work planning and data capture through review, follow-up, and resolution. Spend time with inspectors, field crews, program managers, and operational leaders to understand how work happens in practice. Identify the highest-leverage opportunities for AI to improve fieldwork while preserving user control, transparency, and trust. Partner closely with Engineering and Design to frame problems, evaluate tradeoffs, define requirements, and ship polished end-to-end experiences across mobile and web. Define how we measure success, including adoption, task completion, data quality, time saved, issue-resolution time, and customer outcomes. Lead product discovery through interviews, workflow observation, prototypes, pilots, usage data, and structured experimentation. Balance immediate customer needs with investments in shared platform capabilities, reliability, and long-term product differentiation. Develop thoughtful rollout and change-management plans for workflows used in regulated and operationally critical environments. Equip Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing with a clear product narrative, launch materials, demonstrations, and the context needed to support adoption. Communicate priorities, decisions, risks, and learnings clearly across the company. What we’re looking for 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful ownership of a complex product area from discovery through launch and iteration. Excellent product judgment. You can separate urgent requests from durable needs, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and turn ambiguous problems into focused product bets. A builder’s mindset. You don’t stop at setting direction or managing delivery. You use prototypes, data, workflow models, technical exploration, and other hands-on methods to learn quickly and help the team arrive at a better product. Experience shipping AI-powered product experiences to real users. You understand what it takes to make them trustworthy in production, including evaluation, failure modes, guardrails, and iteration based on real-world behavior. Strong customer instincts and experience learning from users whose work is operational, technical, or domain-specific. A track record of shipping workflow-heavy B2B or enterprise software that produced measurable customer or business outcomes. The ability to work as a close partner to Engineering and Design, with enough technical fluency to reason about data, integrations, AI capabilities, constraints, and system tradeoffs. Clear, concise communication and the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around priorities, decisions, and outcomes. Comfort operating with autonomy in a growing company, paired with a high bar for quality and a collaborative, low-ego approach. Strong candidates may also have Experience owning a mobile or similarly reliability-critical product where connectivity, synchronization, data integrity, or constrained operating environments materially shaped product decisions. Familiarity with government, construction, utilities, infrastructure, climate, or another regulated industry. Domain experience is valuable, but it isn’t a prerequisite. We care most about your ability to learn complex domains quickly, develop sound judgment, and build products that people can trust in the moments that matter. Our team has a lot to offer. We also have a quarterly wellness reimbursement so you can define what “health” means to you. The salary range for this position is $180,000-$210,000. This posting may span more than one career level. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including an individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
