Maintenance Crew MemberMaintenance Crew Members are responsible for providing weekly maintenance service alongside a Maintenance Crew Leader. A Maintenance Crew Member performs the tasks necessary to provide the best landscape maintenance service in an effective and professional manner. This includes, but is not limited to: mowing, edging, pruning, bed monitoring, and blowing.The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all duties listed and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.Mow, blow, edge, prune, and bed monitoringStake and prune vinesPlant trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. for small jobsApply granular chemicals after proper trainingUnderstand basic fertilizer application techniquesHave a general understanding of irrigationIdentify frequently used plants, common weeds and pestsMake sure customer requests are communicated to the Maintenance Crew LeaderBe responsible for truck inventoryIdentify broken, poorly running, or misused equipmentKnow and be able to use the following tools and equipment: Navigator, 36", 21", Weed Eater, Trimmer, Long Sheers, Short Sheers, BlowerThe following duties are mandatory for all employees of Quick Design Inc.
