Estates and Trusts Administration Paralegal (Annapolis)

Our client is seeking an Estate & Trust Administration Paralegal to support attorneys with the administration of estates and trusts from initial intake through final distribution. As a key member of the team, you’ll play an essential role in guiding clients through the complexities of estate and trust administration, with support from a highly collaborative legal team. This role is focused on case management and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients and professional advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and filing probate petitions and supporting court documents
• Tracking estate and trust assets through detailed accountings (Microsoft Excel)
• Serving as the main point of contact for clients and occasionally beneficiaries
• Communicating with third-party professionals, including financial institutions and court personnel
• Recording billable time daily and assisting with monthly billing reviews
• Coordinating the recording of real estate deeds
• Supporting general office operations
• Handling confidential client matters with professionalism and discretion
• Supporting attorneys on special projects and case management needs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
• Experience in probate, trust administration, or estate planning preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a client-focused mindset
• Tech-savvy and confident using Microsoft Suite applications and services and other legal practice technology
• Comfortable receiving direction and adapting to changing priorities
