Orion Solutions Group is working with an entrepreneurial, asset-light logistics organization in search of a Controller. You'll influence decisions that impact national supply chains while building a finance function designed for explosive growth. Job Highlights: Lead the financial engine of a rapidly scaling logistics organization. High-visibility role partnering directly with ownership and executive leadership. Opportunity to build a finance function capable of supporting $200MM+ in revenue. Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. Ensure timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-compliant reporting. Own brokerage-specific revenue recognition, carrier accruals, margin reporting, and load-level profitability. Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and treasury operations. Partner closely with operations to translate financial insights into pricing, margin, and efficiency improvements. Build scalable financial systems and processes to support rapid growth. Qualifications: Deep expertise in logistics-specific financial mechanics (revenue recognition, carrier accruals, margin analysis). Proven experience negotiating and managing credit facilities, debt covenants, and banking relationships. Background in high-growth, fast-paced, transactional environments. CPA designation preferred.
