Assistant Controller (Dealership)

:

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an assistant controller. The successful applicant will have experience working in an auto dealership accounting office, an accounting background, be a team player, and be comfortable with current technology systems. This position is full-time in person.

Responsibilities Include:

• Help manage financial functions and prepare financial statements.
• Assist in supervising the accounting office staff.
• Produce financial reviews and analyses for operating managers to use for tracking, forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis.
• Assist with payroll functions.
• Work with outside accountants on financial reviews, annual reviews, and tax matters.

Qualifications & Skills

• Accounting background with at least three years of auto dealership accounting experience
• College coursework in accounting or finance.
• A college degree is strongly preferred.
• Forward-thinking and tech-savvy
• Strong organizational skills with excellent communication and people skills
