Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will have the opportunity to work in one of two roles: stacker or builder. As a stacker, you will be responsible for stacking lumber from a conveyor belt onto pallets, initiating the production process. As a builder, you will construct boxes according to customer orders, utilizing your skills in reading work orders, measuring dimensions, and using hand and power tools.

• Stack lumber coming off a conveyor belt onto pallets.
• Read and interpret work orders with dimensions.
• Use hand and power tools effectively.
• Build boxes to customer specifications, varying in size.
• Ensure accuracy in measurement using a tape measure.

• General labor skills.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and utilize a tape measure.
• Experience in reading and interpreting work orders.

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• 6+ months of experience using a tape measure.
• 6+ months of experience with hand and power tools.

The work environment is designed to be open and family-like, fostering collaboration and camaraderie. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel-toed boots, with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplied by the company. Work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OWATONNA, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
