Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, depending on credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on prevention strategies, wellness initiatives, and ongoing disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments as dictated by your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
