Job Description

This role operates and monitors production machinery in a metal fabrication facility. You will run equipment that fabricates metal, including stamping machines and other production machines used to create metal products, while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire mesh and related metal fabrication machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Run stamping machines and other metal-forming equipment to produce wire mesh and metal components according to specifications.
• Set up machines for production runs, including adjusting settings, installing tooling, and preparing materials.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools such as tape measures to perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how machines and tools operate.
• Ability to safely operate production machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools for machine setup, adjustments, and basic repairs.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately and perform basic math for measurements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
