Details Work in a 32-bed Medical/Surgical/Trauma/Transplant Intermediate Care Unit (ICU stepdown) Care for patients with complex surgical and medical needs, including those on ventilators, high flow oxygen, and BiPAP Patient population includes trauma, general surgery, thoracic surgery, kidney transplant, and Whipple procedure cases Patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 AM shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week 30-minute meal break included in shift No on-call requirements Requirements Active MA RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Prior ICU stepdown or intermediate care experience preferred Additional Information Provide advanced nursing care to patients with complex surgical, trauma, and transplant needs Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator, high flow oxygen, and BiPAP support American Traveler Job ID P-710204.
