Job Title: Superintendent Job Description

The Site Superintendent will oversee crews of 5-6 employees, including heavy equipment operators, pipelayers, and laborers. This role involves coordinating daily schedules, overseeing field operations, and providing training and guidance to crew members as needed. The superintendent will work closely with owners, estimators, inspectors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. Typical projects include site grading and earthwork, underground utility installation such as water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm drainage systems, as well as neighborhood and roadway reconstruction.

• Coordinate daily schedules and oversee field operations.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.
• Collaborate with owners, estimators, inspectors, and other trades.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.
• Manage site grading and earthwork, and install underground utilities such as water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm drainage systems.
• Oversee neighborhood and roadway reconstruction projects.

• 3-5 years of experience as a superintendent.
• Experience with MDOT, site grading, and utility construction.
• Ability to handle personnel effectively.
• Proficiency in reading plans.
• Computer skills with software such as Trimble, Insight, and Procam.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jenison, MI.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
