OFFICE MANAGER

Description

The Office Manager - Behavioral Health Department is responsible for overseeing all front office and reception operations for the Behavioral Health (BH) department, including direct performance of receptionist duties due to current department size and supervision of future reception/front office staff. The position manages the BH side of billing and revenue cycle support by ensuring timely and accurate clinician documentation, verification of client insurance coverage, and effective coordination with Patient Billing and Registration. The Office Manager organizes and tracks BH-related trainings, supports Joint Commission (JC) and hospital regulatory compliance for front office processes, and manages a large data repository for grant and program reporting, including significant data entry and data quality oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of office management, medical office, or behavioral health practice management experience.
• Experience with patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification in a healthcare setting preferred.?
• Familiarity with behavioral health documentation, billing practices, and payer requirements preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.?
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high volumes of data entry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, staff, and external partners.
