How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Deliver high-quality direct nursing care by following established clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Execute and adapt individualized care plans while continuously monitoring patient progress to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
• Track and communicate vital health changes in real-time to the care team, ensuring swift and accurate clinical decision-making.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams as the primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless, collaborative experience for the patient.
• Champion the discharge planning process from admission to transition, collaborating with the healthcare team to guarantee safe and successful patient returns home.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Professional Qualifications & Technical Skills: Holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a strong foundation in clinical and administrative operations, including precise note documentation, vaccine administration, and medical phone etiquette; pediatric experience and bilingual skills are highly preferred, alongside a preference for over 5 years of experience.
• Core Competencies & Care Delivery: Demonstrates leadership presence, exceptional multitasking, and a high degree of adaptability, while consistently delivering patient-centered care anchored in empathy, active listening, and professionalism.
