Operations Manager

Operations ManagerThis position will report to our Senior Director of Operations and work with the entire Playboy organization (Brand and Marketing, Print & Digital, Licensing, Legal, Finance & Accounting, and People Operations), as well as our external partners, collaborating with stakeholders to help project manage, coordinate people and resources, create and refine processes, ensure compliance, track all progress & status, and ensure timely delivery dates. You will be responsible for supporting the project management of these day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, alignment with strategic vision, and legal compliance, including but not limited to, contracts and agreements for all content productions, writers, agents, photographers, models and vendors.What You'll Do - Job ResponsibilitiesSupport daily business operations across editorial, digital content, marketing, events, and brand partnershipsHelp develop and implement operational systems, processes, and standard operating proceduresManage project timelines and resource allocation for campaigns, product launches, and eventsCoordinate cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, production, and external partnersTrack and manage departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationshipsEstablish and monitor KPIs related to content output, audience growth, operational efficiency, and revenue supportImprove workflows using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Airtable)Ensure compliance with legal, licensing, and brand guidelinesSupport leadership with operational reporting and forecastingHelp manage budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocationTrack and report on operational KPIs, performance metrics, and project timelinesCollaborate cross-functionally with creative, editorial, digital, and sales teamsImprove tools and systems used for content calendars, campaign tracking, and project managementSupport remote and hybrid team operations, scheduling, and resource planning, ensure legal, compliance, and brand standards are followed across operationsWhat You'll Bring - Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Media Management, or related field (preferred)3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or media/lifestyle environmentsExperience working in digital media, publishing, lifestyle brands, or creative industriesStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong understanding of digital media production cycles, brand collaborations, and content workflowsExperience working with cross-functional creative and corporate teamsAbility to create and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environmentAnalytical mindset with experience reporting on metrics and performanceProficiency with project management, collaboration, and analytics toolsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with influencer marketing, talent management, or live eventsFamiliarity with media buying, campaign analytics, and audience engagement metricsKnowledge of licensing, rights management, and content distributionExperience with content management systems (CMS), media planning tools, and project management platforms (Asana, Monday, Airtable, etc.)Familiarity with influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and e-commerce operationsWork EnvironmentCorporate/office setting with hybrid work flexibilityOccasional travel for shoots, events, or brand activationsFast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive Medical/Dental/Vision insurance plans with FSA/HSA and Dependent Care FSA options.Generous Family and Parental Leave Policy.Pet Insurance for those who need it too!Dedicated Health and Wellness resources including Employee Assistance Program and Equinox membership subsidy.Pretax Transportation/Commuter Benefits optionsEmployee Resource Groups401K program with Company match.Flexible Time Away PlanProfessional growth opportunitiesDynamic, inclusive workplace culture focused on innovation, impact, and employee well-beingThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $70-85K; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.What You'll be Part ofPlayboy is one of the most recognizable, iconic brands in the world that started as a culture-driving, boundary-pushing magazine over 70 years ago.
