Since GreenSky's inception, nearly 6 million consumers have financed more than $50 billion of commerce using GreenSky's real time "apply and buy" technology.The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst delivers the financial insight and analysis behind GreenSky's strategic and operating decisions. Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, the Analyst contributes to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement that tie back to GreenSky's strategic objectives.This is a high-visibility seat for an early-career finance professional. The Analyst works directly with senior finance leadership and partners across Accounting, Analytics, Pricing, and Sales, and will build a working command of consumer lending economics — loan-level performance, vintage returns, funding costs, and the drivers of profitability in a point-of-sale lending model. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, professional maturity, and clear communication in GreenSky's fast-paced, regulated fintech environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting and financial analysisPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management reviewMonitor key financial metrics and surface actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiencyPrepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and other stakeholdersSupport the month-end and year-end close processes in partnership with AccountingBudgeting, forecasting, and modelingSupport the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and scenario modelingBuild and maintain financial models supporting new initiatives, product launches, and strategic planningAnalyze loan-level and vintage-level performance data to explain movements in yield, credit costs, and returnsBusiness partnering and insightCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and validate financial assumptionsIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities through in-depth data analysisTools, data, and processUse the company's financial planning and forecasting tools, including Workday Adaptive Planning, to work efficiently and keep a single source of truthMaintain and enhance financial databases, reporting tools, and dashboardsRequired Skills/QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field1–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or a similar roleStrong analytical and quantitative skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with financial modeling and data analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented, with a proactive and collaborative approachGrowth and DevelopmentThe Analyst sits close to the decisions that shape the business, with direct exposure to senior finance leadership and to executive- and Board-level materials. GreenSky supports professional development and certification pursuit, and this role is designed as a path toward senior analyst and manager-level responsibility within Strategic Finance.Market Basis: Requirements and compensation philosophy for this role were benchmarked against comparable finance and FP&A roles at Atlanta-metro fintech and financial-services peers — including Fiserv, Global Payments/Worldpay, NCR Voyix, Truist, Regions, and Invesco — and against specialty and point-of-sale/home-improvement lenders (Affirm, Synchrony, Foundation Finance Company, EnerBank USA, Service Finance Company, Sunbit, Wisetack, and Mosaic), reflecting current market practice around CFA and CPA certification expectations at the analyst level, to ensure GreenSky's requirements and pay positioning remain competitive in the local talent market.Compensation and BenefitsOur compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $X per year to $X per year. Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
