We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our assisted living team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms daily.
- Perform laundry services for residents, including washing, drying, and folding clothes and linens.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials following safety protocols.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Assist in the preparation of rooms for new admissions or discharge of residents.
- Follow established infection control procedures and maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families regarding cleaning needs and schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.
