The role of the Room Attendant is to guarantee 100% guest satisfaction by providing a clean, comfortable, and safe room.

Responsibilities of the position:

• Generate guest satisfaction and exceed their expectations by providing the brand's service behavior and genuine hospitality.
• According to the brand's standards, clean the assigned rooms or suites, which includes making the beds, vacuuming, dusting, organizing the furniture if necessary, and cleaning the bathroom.
• Maintain cleaning protocols.
• Empty all trash containers and replace them with clean bags.
• Restock usable items in rooms or suites, such as soap, towels, amenities, and paper items.
• Ensure the correct collection and handling of trays, glasses, and cutlery from rooms.
• Clean and vacuum exterior entrances and corridors.
• Maintain laundry closets and supply areas clean and organized.
• Ensure that guest laundry and dry cleaning orders are promptly attended to.
• Immediately inform the supervisor of any special situation in the room or maintenance needs.
• Manage guest requests or complaints and escalate to the supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure that all rooms are properly locked when leaving them.
• Create a Radisson experience that guarantees total guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality standards.
• Provide personalized attention, assume personal responsibility, and work as a team when providing service.
• Listen, apologize empathetically, find a solution, and follow up on resolving guest problems.
• Provide genuine hospitality under the "Yes I Can!" approach consistently.
• Take responsibility for identifying when a guest is not satisfied and act accordingly to resolve it.
• Perform other necessary functions to provide genuine hospitality.
• Comply with other tasks assigned by management to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Requirements / Skills:

• Minimum one year of experience in hospitality, preferably in housekeeping.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Great attention to detail.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to clean multiple types of rooms and meet the daily standard.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Physical demands:

• Repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and twist.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
