Pastry Cook

Job Overview Shooters Waterfront is looking for a creative and experienced Pastry Cook to join our award‑winning waterfront operation. We are hiring a Pastry Cook to join our team! Reports to: Pastry Chef. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be well‑versed in pastry arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Prepare baked goods for service, baked in cooperation with buffet, a la carte, and banquet. Clean up station and take care of leftover dessert. Assist in stocking inventory appropriately. Ensure the baked goods come out in high quality and timely fashion. Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards. Required Qualifications / Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. Proven baking and production experience, including experience as prep. A la carte dessert. Excellent understanding of various baking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Familiar with industry's best practices. Must have cake decorating skills, clean & sharp cut for cakes. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to follow exact recipes and procedures. Must be available to work weekends and all holidays. Must have excellent organization and communication skills. Ensure all pastries are consistent and up to our standards. Must possess reliable transportation. Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position. Wage is dependent upon skills and experience.
