Radiology - CT Tech

CT TechThis is a reduced non-billable orientation job with no hours of NBO. The position requires a licensed CT/X-ray Tech. It is a weekday night shift that involves both CT and X-ray work. The schedule is Monday through Thursday night, consisting of 4 ten-hour shifts from 21:00 to 07:00. After midnight, the tech will be the only one on shift performing both CT and X-rays. There is no requirement to float between units. No on-call requirement. Weekends are not required. Block scheduling is required, specifically Monday through Thursday. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Staffing includes a mix of adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census averages around 50 visits per day. The facility is a short-term acute care center and a Level III trauma center. Interdisciplinary support and interpretation services are available. The tech is expected to handle a variety of procedures including 3D rendering, contrast administration, and various CT studies. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays throughout the contract duration. References are required covering experience within the last 3 years. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Communication devices will be provided if necessary for job duties.
