Associate Operator, Warehouse Operations

Overview Support Cencora's distribution services operating through AmerisourceBergen in the United States. Compensation & Shift Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Pay starts at $20.25, potentially rising to $23.74 based on shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses. Full-time salary range: $29,600 – $54,340 (national average; may vary by location). Responsibilities Monitors temperature‑sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to preserve required conditions. Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control. Identifies on‑hold, damaged, or non‑conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures. Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow. Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity. Escalates non‑standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow‑up. Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification preferred. Work Experience Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Knowledge of inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements. Knowledge of temperature‑controlled handling and cold chain support for sensitive products and materials. Knowledge of packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations. Knowledge of shipment documentation, operational record‑keeping, and transaction processing requirements. Knowledge of safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools. Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions. Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs. Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action. Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities. Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy. Ability to work with temperature‑sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
