HR Generalist Marketing & Communications

HR Generalist Marketing & Communications (HRG) The HR Generalist partners with the MAC HR Team to ensure accurate, timely and consistent execution of HR processes and policies. The HR Generalist is the primary front‑line HR contact for staff and managers, managing day‑to‑day HR inquiries and providing transactional support. Reports to the Sr HR Manager. Responsibilities HR Operations & Administration Support: maintain staff actions in HR systems (Workday), maintain and audit personnel records. Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing agreements and hire paperwork. Generate and analyze HR reports and dashboards to identify issues/trends and measure progress. Assist recruiters and hiring managers with recruitment activities: resume review, interview scheduling, data tracking, and process assistance. Employee support and compliance: benefits and leave administration guidance, location change administration, personal move requests, home office updates. Respond to internal and external HR‑related inquiries or requests in a timely and effective manner. Support training and development opportunities and employee engagement initiatives. Communications & Team Support: deliver general HR communications, updates, reminders. Partner with AO Central Functions HR team on initiatives and projects and with People Team centers of excellence on shared objectives. Maintain confidentiality concerning personnel and other organizational information. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 3 years HR‑related work experience or equivalent combination. Experience responding to HR‑related questions and problems from employees/management. Experience in database management, spreadsheet software, report construction and production, data input, manipulation and analysis. Experience working with MS Office software, HR information systems and analytics tools. Desired Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience coordinating HR operational activities involving multiple stakeholders. Broad understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services. Candidates in Eastern or Central time zone preferred. Compensation The starting pay range for this position is generally within $59,179 – $88,644 for U.S. candidates.
