Amazing Benefits Competitive Pay Great Company Culture Job Details Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates that accurately reflect the cost of construction and project timelines. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects or services. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it's more cost-effective to produce or purchase components. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project. Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to provide an accurate and competitive bid. Utilize specialized software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Regularly follow up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received. Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation. Proficient in project estimation, utilities, concrete, earthwork, drainage, roadway, and takeoffs. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities. Proficient in relevant software such as CAD, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
