RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN with MedSurg/Tele experience to join a dynamic unit focused on cardiac, respiratory, and neuro care. This fast-paced role is ideal for candidates with strong medical-surgical skills, including cardiac rhythm interpretation and wound care.

Assignment Details

• 24-bed unit with an average daily census of 24
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience required
• Accepting first-time travelers
• Shift times: 0645-1915; 1845-0715
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
• EMR: EPIC
• Floating required within region and scope of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, and neuro diagnoses
• Manage patient loads with ratios of RN: 1:5-6, and up to 1:7-8 during surge periods
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
• Perform basic medical and surgical procedures including IV starts and wound care

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Basic Med/Tele skillset with cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with EPIC EMR, at least 6 months
